“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you, and lo, I am with you always even to the end of the age.” Believing that Jesus himself laid out the plot plan for world missions in His last recorded words on earth: “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the uttermost parts of the earth.” (Acts 1:8) We believe that OUR Jerusalem is Cape Coral & North Ft. Myers, OUR Judea & Samaria are Fort Myers and the surrounding areas and anything beyond the US is our uttermost parts of the earth. Our current home missions project is Lifeline Family Center & our Foreign Missions is to St. Marc, Haiti.
A Harsh Reality
Imagine a world where education is limited, where dreams are seldom conceived, and where acceptance is critical to survival. Your children are starving, their young lives inching toward hopelessness every day. You have no way to care for them, to feed them properly, to give them what you never had. There is no ladder to success, no steel to build a bridge to hope. There are no government programs to provide food, clothing, shelter, and health care for those who need it. Clean water is unavailable, electricity unimaginable, employment unattainable. And yet, God has not forgotten Haiti, and because of His wondrous grace and love, He is allowing us the privilege and honor of helping to bring the “pearl back to the Caribbean.”
Mission Statement:
To build and equip a school that will provide Haitian children with educational and Biblical knowledge preparing them to become the generation that restores the nation. Our Vision: To build a series of buildings which will house a school with grades 1-12 providing advanced educational opportunities in such things as computer science, technology, math, sciences with lab as well as fine arts.
CFN has partnered with Pastors Gerard & Leslie Cesar of St. Marc, Haiti for several years and have assisted in the building of one school in Pierre Payen, Haiti. Annual Christmas parties are given to the children with a team of CFN each week of Thanksgiving. Ongoing projects are throughout the year.
